Commitment to success
Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and centers on evidence-based strategies to support writing instruction, engagement, and confidence in students with disabilities. Through her current projects, she continues to explore how strategies like Self-Regulated Strategy Development (SRSD) can be applied across content areas to create more inclusive classrooms.
She is also the founder of CONECT-Ed, a national network of early-career education scholars committed to transformative research and collective impact. She is an active member of the Council for Exceptional Children’s Division for Research Legislative Affairs Committee and recently participated in the Special Education Legislative Summit in Washington, D.C.
